Jessie Thompson

Jessie is the director of The Olive Branch Center. She has lived in the southeastern United States for most of her life. After receiving a BS degree in Administrative Management and pursing a brief career in the financial industry, she settled into family life and found great joy in being a full time mother. Her three sons, all grown now, were raised in Charlotte, NC. While raising them and being actively involved in philanthropic and volunteer work, Jessie immersed herself in her spiritual journey. A lifelong seeker and learner, she earned her Certificate in Spiritual Formation from Columbia Theological Seminary and a certificate in Education For Ministry from the School of Theology at the University of the South.

Jessie has also independently studied the topics of theology, spirituality and Jungian psychology. More recently she received certification as a spiritual consultant at The Institute for Life Leadership and Coaching and also a Certificate in Global Spiritual Education in Beverly Lanzetta's program at Schola Divina.

Jessie feels that her calling is to help bring healing to spiritual seekers who have been disaffected by the division and exclusion among faith traditions. This calling led her to found The Olive Branch Center with her husband Chris Saade. Jessie and Chris hope to impact the community—local and beyond—with the promotion and teaching of the ideas of spiritual inclusion and solidarity through the Olive Branch Center.
